The beauty of a loft bed, created with a sturdy structure of solid lamellar beechwood, is combined with the convenience of a large space-saving storage space underneath, which in this photo features 50 cm-deep drawers in the front and sliding doors on the side.
SPAZIOBED Drawers is available in either untreated wood or a variety of tints, can be treated on request with natural finishing oils, includes a mattress foundation of a tatami mat, slats, or breathable wood platform, and is customizable with centimetric precision.

The drawers are:

- complete with soft-close Blum slides;
- inside of multi-ply birch, ideal for stability;
- with easy-grasp shaped wooden handles, available in three versions;
- positionable on any side of the bed except where the steps are.
On both sides of the bed it is possible to have side guards and different types of steps which hold other drawers.

Tatami
For SPAZIOBED the recommended mattress foundation is a tatami, which can be walked over, is breathable, provides heat and thermal insulation, and is easy to clean.
The tatami is made exclusively of vegetable fibers and is an article that has been used in Japan for centuries. Its weave makes it suitable for a mattress laid directly on top of it, affording good breathability, while at the same time creating a dust-proof storage bed.
It is also possible to equip each of our beds with a slatted or a breathable wooden platform mattress foundation, except in the case of the SPAZIOBED Living model.
