1.1. Read the Manual CarefullyEach piece of SpazioBed furniture is designed for intuitive and safe assembly. Before proceeding:- Make sure you have all components and accessories included in the package.
- Check that the assembly instructions are complete and follow each step carefully.
- If you are in doubt about a step, consult our technical support.
- Check that you have followed the correct order of assembly.
- Verify that there are no chips or debris preventing interlocking.
- Do not apply too much force, as it may damage structural parts.
- Check that all screws are tightened properly.
- Make sure the structure is stable and has no abnormal movement.
2. Security and Fixing to the Wall
2.1. Mandatory Anchorage for Furniture Above 60 cmFor home safety, all furniture over 60 cm high must be fixed to the wall, in accordance with the European standard EN 14749:2016 on furniture safety.2.2. Why is Fixing Important?- Prevents accidental tipping (especially in the presence of children or pets).
- Provides stability even on uneven floors.
- Protects the cabinet from unintentional bumping and shifting.
- Concrete or brick wall → expansion plugs or wall screws.
- Plasterboard walls → specific plugs for heavy loads.
- Wooden walls → appropriate self-tapping screws.
3. Safety Warnings.
- Keep children away during assembly. Small parts may pose a choking hazard.
- Do not overload the cabinet. Always respect the maximum weight indicated for shelves and drawers.
- Check the integrity of the materials. If you notice damage or imperfections on a component, do not proceed with assembly and contact service.
- Do not use the furniture until assembly is complete. A partially assembled piece of furniture may be unstable and dangerous.
- Avoid exposure to sources of heat and moisture. Wood and panels may warp or deteriorate.
